Once Upon A Met Ball

In a far- away kingdom called The Upper East Side… okay, I’m done with the fairy tale stuff.

So Monday night’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala was one of the best- dressed in recent years (in my opinion) with it’s theme of China: Through the Looking Glass – tying into the current exhibit on Chinese fashion.

Below are a zillion photos of the most stand- out looks, as well as my personal favorites.

PS- I think we can all agree Rihanna won (if winning the Met Ball was actually a thing)

I think the Hollywood Butt Brigade coordinated their outfits

But no one can deny that Rihanna was the real show- stopper this year in her insane yellow get up by Guo Pei. That Rihanna reign just won’t let up, as we all know.
