V for Vionnet

Today I’m paying homage to one of my favorite designers of all time (along with ODLR, Poiret, & more) – the amazing French designer Madeleine Vionnet (1876-1975). Her career peaked in the 1920’s – 30’s when she became a famed couturier and has long been considered the “Queen of the Bias Cut.” Below I’ve included just a small sampling of her incredible gowns- as well as my top four favorites.
