Too Much of a Good Thing

Hello all.

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Around three months, I believe. During my brief hiatus, I took care of a great many personal things- moving, working, studying, and attending to a serious health scare. As dear as this blog is to me, there’s an appropriate time and place for it in my life. These past few months just weren’t it. But I’m happy to be back in action, and find myself oozing with upcoming post ideas, so stay tuned.

OK TIME FOR THE FUN STUFF! This evening, I want to touch on the deliciously extravagant trend of necklace layering. Not just any necklaces- statement necklaces. I was enthralled by all the excessive, blingin’ neck candy I found in the inspiration photos I’ve posted at the bottom here. I myself am not dripping in diamonds, but I had fun messing around with what necklaces I do have- flipping some backwards and piling them on top of one another- to create my own take on this look. I am wayyyy too lazy to list the source of each necklace- which I’d typically do- so if you’re curious just ask.

Much more impressive, I know, but perfect to draw ideas from. Once my sunburn heals, I plan to rock some chest armor over a casual tee shirt like the first pic below.

At the verrryyyyy bottom, I posted some for-real (as in us lesser folk can actually get our hands on them) necklaces I found for sale online.
